I feel like it's been forever since I've been on Deviantart, so much has happened since I was last on here!

I recently started a website (future magazine) under the name SHARP OBJEX. The idea for this site has been in the back of my mind for years now, and I finally decided to put it up. Here is the mission statement:

'SHARP OBJEX is a site devoted to experimental culture. Our focus is to promote those who work so hard for what they do, yet are not in the 'mainstream'. Our goal is also to channel new information to fans of experimental culture.

Because we are focusing heavily on experimental culture, we're not interested in much of the mainstream, but if we feel that it is a worthy contender and has artistic merit, then we will include it. We have dedicated the site solely on experimental Art, Film, Music, Literature, Videogames, and Fashion.'

With that in mind, I would like to inform to all of you deviants that I'll be using deviantart.com as a good base for the Art section of the website. There are so many talented artists here, it would be ludicrous for me not to. What I plan on doing is randomly selecting artists to feature (article/interview) on the site, I hope to do this weekly.

Although SHARP OBJEX is still in the midst of expanding further, I feel that doing this weekly feature will both help us at SHARP OBJEX as well as you talented deviants.

So, don't be surprised if you get selected to be featured on our website! I'm also thinking of putting together contests in the far future. I'll keep you all updated!
